The Northern District Court of Seoul announced today that Chuu, a girl member of this month, won the contract termination lawsuit filed by her former agency Block Berry Creative (hereinafter referred to as BBC): the exclusive contract signed between Chuu and the BBC in December 2017 is invalid, and the BBC will undertake the lawsuit cost.
The Judgment Department suggested that the two parties settle in March this year but failed. Today, it announced that Chuu’s application for additional punishment and Ninghe’s lawsuit have won the lawsuit, completely breaking away from the shackles of the BBC at the legal level.
In November last year, the BBC removed Chuu from the group and unilaterally announced its withdrawal from the group through the fan official cafe, saying that the reason was that the company employees were treated violently by Chuu. back. In this regard, Chuu said, “I have never done anything to be ashamed of the fans.”
In December of the same year, the BBC, through the Rewards and Punishment Committee of the Korean Entertainment Activities Management Association, submitted a statement requesting that Chuu be banned from entertainment activities, saying that Chuu had contacted BY4M STUDIO for a contract in 2021. However, the Performing Arts Activities Management Association believes that the BBC’s claim is unfounded, and said that the association is not responsible for this issue, and it should be judged by the judiciary through a formal lawsuit.
