This nostalgic Warzone class replicates the iconic Grau

Warzone expert WhosImmortal has found a way to replicate the iconic Grau 5.56 assault rifle that dominated the Verdansk meta for a time.

Warzone has seen some iconic metas over the years, with certain weapons completely dominating the game at various points. From the MTZ Interceptor that dominated the early days of Urzikstan to the Kar98k that became notorious on Caldera, many weapons have crossed players’ classes.

But one of the most popular battle royale metas to date is the Grau 5.56, which was the assault rifle of choice during the Verdansk era. This was due to this weapon being extremely easy to handle and its iconic aim loved by fans.

And recently, Warzone expert WhosImmortal revealed that the iconic Grau aim is returning to the game, but on one condition.

In his March 18 video, the YouTuber explained that the Heretic’s Bane weapon blueprint for the TAQ Evolvere machine gun, which was added to the store as part of the Warhammer 40K crossover, is equipped with a scope that is almost identical to that of the Grau 5.56.

He went on to say that anyone who buys this pack will have access to one of the “sharpest sights in gaming,” as well as an absolute “laser beam” reminiscent of the popular assault rifle. WhosImmortal however clarified that the TAQ Evolvere is much slower than the Grau since it is a machine gun and not an assault rifle.

But if you want to go back to the Verdansk era in today’s Battle Royale, here’s how you should equip your TAQ Evolvere.

WhosImmortal’s Grau 2.0 class in Warzone

  • Mouthpiece: VT-7 Spiritfire L silencer
  • Canon : Long Canon LRF Righteous
  • Cannon accessory: Kimura Seraphic vertical grip
  • Ammo: 7.62x51mm high grain ammo
  • Crosse: Crosse SA Kilonova

Although this Grau-like aim is limited to the Heretic’s Bane blueprint, once this weapon blueprint is equipped, you can freely swap attachments while maintaining the look of the Grau 5.56.

Unfortunately, the only way to unlock this iconic feature is to purchase the Battle Sisters Tracker Pack from the store, which costs 2,400 CoD Points ($20).

While this won’t be accessible for everyone, it’s still a nice nod that long-time Warzone fans will no doubt appreciate.
