This old Pokémon Go Egg contains an extremely rare Pokémon

A Pokémon Go player who had abandoned the game has returned and the discovery of an almost ten-year-old Egg has made many Pokémon Go players very excited.

Pokémon Go has changed a lot since the heyday of summer 2016, so it’s safe to say that anyone diving back into the game today might be a little confused and overwhelmed. However, you might also hold some very old secrets.

A Pokémon Go player named u/Minimum-Order- shared a post on Reddit, detailing his return to the game and revealing that he hatched an incredibly rare Pokémon from the game, although not the type you might think.

He revealed its hatching accompanied by the comment, “You’re not going to believe this”and an image of a Stari from an Egg originally found in 2016. While this is not out of the ordinary, the Stari actually has the attack Quick Attack, which he has not been able to learn since August 20, 2016.

Other Pokémon fans are very enthusiastic in the comments, with one saying: “Man, this is definitely a legacy.”DO NOT DELETE IT. You have one of the rarest Pokémon in the game. DON’T EVOLUTE IT EITHER.»

The person behind the original post responded, adding: “I was almost going to upload it before I noticed aha, I was considering upgrading it until you commented so thanks I won’t.”I was also thinking about transferring it lucky to another account to see if I can get super lucky and make it hundo, do you think I should try or just leave it as is?»

Meanwhile, another Pokémon Go trainer appears to have had a similar experience, sharing his story saying: “I just checked and the same thing happened to me. Glad I read this as I probably would have traded it as soon as a stronger one came along.»

Another user jokingly asked, “Did your game crash because you didn’t hatch an Exceltongue?”” which alludes to the overwhelming amount of Exceltongue that many players report hatching instead of other – more coveted – Pokémon.

While it’s unlikely that you still have an Egg from 2016, it might be worth checking out some of your older Pokémon, and whether or not they have an attack that now makes them rarer than their comrades Ordinary Pokémon.
