This Pokémon Go player meets a shiny legendary at the worst time

Legendary Pokémon can be difficult to catch in Pokémon Go. One player experienced this, encountering a Shiny Squirrel at the worst possible time.

Many Pokémon Go players recently took to the streets as part of the Pokémon Go Road to Sinnoh event, featuring some real gems from the Pokémon Diamond and Pearl Pokédex.

While many people were participating in raids to try and obtain the original forms of Dialga and Palkia, this incredible event to celebrate the end of the Time Travel season also featured some interesting encounters in the wild, as the Legendary Trio of the Guardians of the Lakes roamed the world.

Unfortunately, Pokémon can be significantly more difficult to capture in the wild than in Raids, which can lead to some absolutely harrowing encounters.

Other Pokémon Go players shared their compassion and their own experiences of the event in the comments, with one person explaining: “I almost ran out of pokéballs after encountering mine.”

Fortunately, there is a method to quickly stock up on Poké Balls and prevent this unfortunate incident from happening to you. Indeed, it is possible to use Daily Adventure Incense to immediately gain 30 Poké Balls. This simple technique should be kept in mind to avoid running out of balls.

Now that the Road to Sinnoh event is over, it’s time to prepare for the rest of the Pokémon Go events. Fortunately, something big is coming with the new Wonderful World Season recently revealed by Niantic.
