Warzone expert Metaphor recently highlighted an “OP” class of shotgun that is impossible to counter for keyboard/mouse players.
Almost every weapon type has had its moment to shine in Warzone over the past few years, but shotguns have always been quite problematic.
The early days of Verdansk saw the introduction of the Dragon’s Breath explosive munitions, and more recently, the Lockwood 300 has dominated the scene.
The developers then stepped in whenever these weapons got out of control, but they might just have a new problem to deal with.
On January 29, Warzone specialist JGOD highlighted the fact that Shotguns are more effective with Modern Warfare 3’s Tactical Aim mechanic, which also increases mobility.
The Haymaker “OP” class in Warzone
After learning this information from JGOD, Metaphor then established a new class, and the result was immediately stunning in its brutality.
“He is right! If you shoot someone who is playing keyboard/mouse, then they simply can’t shoot back. Shotguns are taking over the meta once again.”
While each shotgun benefits from tactical aiming, Metaphor has however opted for the Haymaker with Dragon’s Breath which is a real threat at short range.

As the Youtuber pointed out, the popularity of shotguns is definitely on the rise in recent days, but these weapons are still not as widespread as they once were.
If you have in your possession all the accessories to recreate this Metaphor class, we advise you to quickly reproduce it, because it could well suffer a nerf in the days or weeks to come.
