This surprising Gen 3 Pokemon holds one of the most “obscure” series facts

Despite having a dedicated fanbase within the Pokemon community, Ralts also possesses one of the lesser-known facts in the franchise’s history, all thanks to the unpredictable RNG system.

The Pokemon series is replete with intriguing pieces of information that a large number of fans may not be aware of, covering all 9 Generations of games.

One of the most intriguing details is found in the Gen 3 games, Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald, and revolves around the Psychic type Pokémon, Ralts.

Similar to previous installments, each adventure in the series begins with a tutorial on catching Pokémon. In Generation 3, this tutorial revolves around Wally, the player’s rival, catching his own Ralts.

Some fans on social media have noted that this particular Ralts holds significance due to the extremely low probability, based on RNG (Random Number Generation), that Wally may defeat it during the tutorial.

If this scenario occurs, Wally will still capture and utilize the Ralts, causing some to deem it the “greatest Pokemon of all time.”

Despite the slim possibility of Wally knocking out this Ralts, the chances of it being a Shiny are even lower. Unfortunately, this will not affect any future members of Wally’s team.

Despite the fact that many long-time fans no longer bother with catching tutorials, it may be surprising to discover that some of them are still capable of failing.

One of the most unusual facts in the Pokemon series is that some monsters can learn unexpected moves in Gen 3. This piece of trivia may be the most obscure of all.
