The AMR9 submachine gun is capable of outperforming the best assault rifles in Warzone provided you equip the right attachments.
When Call of Duty ‘s Create a Class system was overhauled a few years ago with the introduction of weapon tuning, players were finally able to modify their classes according to their preferences. Many have used the setting to completely cancel recoil or increase bullet velocity, but others have also explored different avenues.
In some of these cases, players have started transforming weapons completely. Machine guns were used as assault rifles, snipers as shotguns, and pistols as submachine guns.
And recently, Warzone specialist WhosImmortal completely transformed the AMR9 submachine gun into a formidable assault rifle.

“One submachine gun that is currently incredibly powerful is the AMR9 configured to be an assault rifle. Frankly, I’m surprised this wasn’t nerfed, because as it stands, the AMR9 is by far the best submachine gun when you get to medium range. Its TTK is so much faster than everything else at this distance and it also outperforms other mid-range options like machine guns and assault rifles,” says the YouTuber.
He said this class of AMR9 still retains “a little bit” of the mobility of a submachine gun, which makes it even better when configured as an assault rifle.
