In March, the High Command issued a Major Order known as Operation Swift Disassembly, which granted authorization for the complete removal of Automatons. The Major Order was successfully completed by the community in early April. Following this, Arrowhead took to Twitter to declare that “the galaxy has been liberated once again”. However, several players observed that certain PS5 trophies and Steam achievements are now unattainable.

It is no longer possible for gamers to complete the achievements “Let’s call it a draw,””Bot Scrapper,”and “Nothing is bigger than Freedom.”These accolades all involve battling dangerous cyborgs, and the most renowned of them, “Bot Scrapper,”has been discontinued. This trophy was awarded to players who completed any Bot Mission.

Additionally, an update was recently released for Helldivers 2, introducing two new Automatons: Gunships and Factory Striders. Despite the ongoing War reaching its conclusion, it is crucial to eliminate the Terminid enemies from the battlefield.

An intriguing alteration is the inclusion of your armor, complete with the bloody aftermath of the violent battle, on the post-match screen. It also accumulates dirt as you embark on multiple missions, giving a sense of progression to the wear and tear of your armor.

On April 8th, Helldivers 2 marked its two-month anniversary. It is unlikely that the developers will revoke its platinum trophy so soon. However, there is a possibility of Automatons being reintroduced by the team in the near future. Be sure to stay vigilant!
