*The Platform 2* is the highly anticipated sequel to Netflix’s breakout 2019 film, which presents a dystopian horror centered around its namesake prison system.
In this chilling setting, inmates are confined in a vertical structure where food is delivered downwards. Those at the top benefit first, often consuming excessive amounts and leaving mere scraps for the unfortunate souls below.
The sequel showcases a fresh cast, featuring Milena Smit and Hovik Keuchkerian.

On the contrary, IndieWire described it as a “tedious muddle of color gels, religious imagery, and confusing callbacks, none of which are half as engaging as the fundamental plot they aim to dilute.”
It’s What’s Inside
*It’s What’s Inside* introduces a mysterious plot: a group of college friends gathers for a wedding celebration, and one of them unveils a gadget that enables body-swapping. Naturally, events take a bizarre turn.
The official synopsis reveals: “A pre-wedding gathering spirals into a surreal existential crisis when an estranged friend shows up with an enigmatic device that facilitates body swaps. Tempted to engage in a twisted game, the friends uncover buried truths, suppressed desires, and longstanding grudges. As their lives unravel amidst deception and shocking discoveries, *IT’S WHAT’S INSIDE* reveals layers of intrigue with its mind-bending twists.”
This project marks director Greg Jardin’s feature film debut, boasting a cast that includes Brittany O’Grady, James Morosini, Alycia Debnam-Carey, Devon Terrell, Gavin Leatherwood, Reina Hardesty, Nina Bloomgarden, and David Thompson.
Jardin views *It’s What’s Inside* more as a “sci-fi thriller with humor” —yet it evokes “the horror of the soul.”
The film holds a 77% Certified Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes. *Bloody Disgusting* provided a favorable review, deeming it “sheer enjoyment” and “extremely hilarious.”

The story follows a popular influencer duo, Nella (Ananya Panday) and Joe (Vihaan Samat), who frequently share videos with their fans. Their perfect facade shatters when Joe cheats on Nella.
The synopsis ponders: “What occurs after their breakup? In an era where data equates to power, how much personal information is too much? At what point do you lose control over your own life?”
Without giving too much away, let’s just say Nella turns to an AI application to erase her ex from her life—leading to disastrous consequences.
Director Vikramaditya Motwane remarked: “Given our extensive screen usage, ‘screen time’ has now evolved into ‘screen life.’ Our challenge is to explore whether we control our digital lives or if they dictate us. *CTRL* confronts this modern dilemma. For a topic this contemporary, we required a cast that exemplifies such a lifestyle, along with a platform as relevant as Netflix.”
