In the past few days, numerous comments have surfaced on various online forums denouncing the preview image for the May 5th episode of Psick Univ’s “Psick Show”featuring Jang Wonyoung.
Upon viewing the thumbnail, internet users expressed their disapproval and pointed out that the title of the show, “Psick,”was deliberately placed to resemble an “F”in the episode featuring Jang Wonyoung.
Contrary to other thumbnails highlighting various celebrities with the prominent display of “PSICK”next to the guests, Jang Wonyoung’s face is positioned next to a partially concealed “P”, giving the impression of “F”, with “SI”being covered. Netizens pointed out that at first glance, it could be misinterpreted as “FUCK”.
Additionally, it was pointed out that the word “Show”written in red below was partially obstructed, giving the appearance of “she.”
Two foreigners shared their opinions about the thumbnail used for the video. One expressed their disgust, stating, “I find it repulsive that the thumbnail makes it seem like ‘fuck’ is placed behind her head.”The other foreigner commented, “I’m enjoying this episode, but the text on the thumbnail is a bit uncomfortable.”
The online community responded with disapproval, stating, “It’s clear they intended to do this,””This is unacceptable,””Why would they target a young girl like that,””Compared to other thumbnails, it’s blatantly obvious,”and “Starship should take legal action.”
Psick Univ has yet to make a statement regarding this controversy.
