TikTok Reactions: Woman Shares Her “Wild” Bedtime Routine with Fiancé

A woman’s nighttime routine with her fiancé has sparked debate among TikTok users, creating a divide with their unconventional sleeping arrangement.

TikToker Chantel Billy shared that, although they live together, she and her fiancé sleep in separate rooms, which ignited discussion on the platform.

“My partner and I don’t share a bedroom,” she disclosed. “Every night at 7:30 PM we meet in his room, he makes us a cup of tea, and we watch an episode of our TV show (currently, it’s House). Then, we part ways and both enjoy a good night’s sleep. I love us.”

While she mentioned that they “make and spend intentional time together,” viewers were divided on their unique routine, labeling the nightly regimen with her significant other as “wild.”

“I understand having separate rooms, but sleeping apart?! I can’t understand,” commented one user.

“Roommate activities,” another user joked.

Chantel responded to the backlash with a follow-up video addressing the comments regarding her bedtime routine.

“Nobody who comments on this will actually explain to me why they believe we’re just ‘roommates’ because we don’t share a bed together,” she stated.

She acknowledged that her audience may not always include people who know her personally and that differing opinions are expected. However, she expressed disappointment over some comments suggesting her fiancé might be unfaithful.

Chantel expressed sympathy for those who doubt her functional relationship, suggesting they need to “reevaluate what makes a healthy relationship.”

Despite facing negative feedback, Chantel received support from others who resonated with her perspective.

“I love this! Having your own space is so important!” one supporter remarked.

“This should be more normalized. It’s not for me, but many people love it and it’s saved relationships,” another commenter added.

Additionally, Twitch streamer Amouranth generated buzz for her unconventional nighttime routine. In 2023, she livestreamed herself sleeping and mentioned that she earned “a couple thousand dollars” on Twitch, making about $15K from interacting with her fans.
