A popular 52-part series on TikTok is currently being developed into a TV show, with actress and producer Natasha Rothwell set to star.
In February 2024, Tareasa Johnson, also known as ReesaTeesa on TikTok, gained widespread attention when she posted her popular “Who TF Did I Marry?”series on the app.
Following the release of back-to-back videos discussing her former marriage, the TikToker proudly announced half a billion views.
During the aforementioned videos, Tareasa accused her ex-partner, referred to as “Legion,”of being a “pathological liar.”Upon uncovering this information, she acknowledged that she was facing significant challenges.

Tareasa’s TikTok series gained such widespread attention online that it has now been selected to be adapted into a television show. In an excited Instagram post, she announced that she will be working with Natasha Rothwell and expressed her anticipation to bring this experience to life.
The White Lotus actress Natasha Rothwell will both produce and star as the lead role of Tareasa in the show.
After receiving the news that her story “Who TF Did I Marry?”was being adapted into a TV show, Tareasa was overwhelmed with an outpouring of support and excitement from her fans.
“Yes, this is how you can change your life for the better! I am so happy for you!”a fan exclaimed.
“After everything you went through, you truly deserve this. I am eagerly looking forward to watching and supporting your story,”another person wrote.
The TikToker revealed some alleged lies about Legion, which may be further addressed in the upcoming TV show. These discrepancies surpass the 52-part series she had previously shared on social media.
During her appearance on Good Morning America, Tareasa revealed that every “I love you”from Legion was a lie and that this realization had a profound effect on her. She also discussed how difficult it was for her to come to terms with the fact that Legion had refused to take her to the hospital when she was experiencing a miscarriage.
Despite not missing her ex-husband of six months, the TikTok star admitted to feeling fearful of allowing herself to feel excitement due to the traumatic experience she went through with him.
At the time of writing, there is currently no confirmed production or release date. Yet, fans have made it clear that they will patiently await further updates.
