David Allen, also known by his online alias ToTouchAnEmu, used social media to share the heartbreaking news of his five-week-old daughter Lily Grace’s passing.
On Sunday, August 5, Allen announced on Instagram and TikTok that his daughter, Lily Grace, had passed away at midnight on July 27.
The content creator, who boasts a fan base of more than 10.3 million on TikTok, opened the video by acknowledging that his initial viral TikTok video, which has garnered over 333 million views, has presented him with numerous amazing opportunities.
According to him, he had the opportunity to interact with plenty of interesting individuals, including celebrities, and even appeared on various shows and interviews. He found the experience to be quite fascinating.
“He shared, ‘One of the most memorable experiences I’ve had was when my wife, Jessica, and I welcomed our baby girl, Lily, into the world. Sadly, she passed away at midnight at just five weeks old about a week ago.’”

Lily passed away at the age of five weeks on June 21, but Allen chose not to disclose the reason for her death.
“I have exhausted all my tears and it still doesn’t feel any easier,”he stated. “I wouldn’t want anyone to go through this and I’m at a loss for words.”
Allen clarified that he had refrained from mentioning the topic for an entire week because he was unsure of how to approach the conversation.
The video concluded with his words, “I’m not sure what else to say. I simply want to share it.”
“Please give your little one a hug and squeeze them tightly on my behalf.”
In addition, he suggested that instead of sending gifts or items to the family, people could make a donation to the Children’s Medical Center Dallas in honor of Lily Grace Allen. He also provided an address in his TikTok bio for those who wanted to send cards and flowers prior to the memorial service on August 6.
He received messages of support on both Instagram and TikTok. A person commented, “It is heartbreaking for a parent to lose their child. My condolences.”
Another person expressed, “I cannot even imagine the multitude of feelings that you and Jess must be experiencing. This news is heartbreaking to hear. May Light Perpetual Shine Upon Her.”
