A TikToker recently faced backlash for standing up a “homeless” woman after they initially planned a date, as shown in a viral clip.
Content creator Prince (mynamesprince) is known for approaching random women on the streets and was criticized on TikTok for a video titled “Accidentally picking up homeless woman.”
In the viral clip, he approached her and said, “I saw you from over there, you’re so pretty. I just wanted to say hi to you,” as she smiled and attempted to continue walking.
They engaged in a brief conversation before he invited her to dinner, which she accepted. However, she mentioned that she did not have a phone and communicated only through payphones and email. She suggested meeting later, and Prince agreed, taking down her email address.

However, it was later revealed that Prince had not shown up for their planned date, prompting significant criticism from his viewers. He subsequently posted an update video explaining that he was unsure of their meeting location and his phone battery had died.
Afterward, Prince reached out via email again to ask her out, but she declined. He noted that upon returning to Toronto, he intended to take her out for dinner.
Upon his return, they reconnected and enjoyed dinner at a Jack Astor’s in the city, where they appeared to have a great time.

The video gained over 256,000 views, as TikTok users flooded the comments with their thoughts. One user remarked, “Strong eye contact, really interested in what you’re saying, a keeper.”
Another commented, “Love it man, must have made her feel like a respected human again.” A third user added, “She’s so nice. Anyone can get down on their luck. So good to see the catch-up.”
“You gotta marry her now, don’t just stand her up, wife her up,” someone suggested, to which Prince humorously responded, “All of TikTok is invited.”
