TikTok Stars Brynne and Mario Unveil ‘Pretty Funny’ Podcast Amidst Major Challenge

Popular TikTok duo Brynne and Mario have embarked on a new venture by launching their own podcast, but fans have raised concerns regarding the show’s title and opening segment.

After creating content independently, TikTok personalities Brynnemarieeee and Mario Mirante began their romantic relationship on Valentine’s Day 2024, which sparked widespread excitement among their followers. Since then, their popularity as a couple has soared.

The couple introduced their podcast, titled The Pretty Funny Podcast, on March 15, 2025. However, it didn’t take long for viewers to identify a potential issue with the podcast’s name and introductory dialogue.

Concerns Over Podcast Name Similarities

During their announcement video, Brynne and Mario stated, “Welcome to the very first episode of the Pretty Funny Podcast. I’m pretty, and I’m funny, ” which quickly gained traction on TikTok. Fans noted a striking resemblance to Mario’s familiar sign-off in his videos—”Follow me, I’m pretty funny” —leading some to speculate that it served as inspiration for the new show.

However, another podcast with the same title highlighted this coincidence by sharing a clip where the hosts introduced themselves: “I’m Jordan and I’m pretty, and I’m Francesca and I’m funny. We’re the Pretty Funny podcast.” They humorously commented, “Hey Pretty Funny Podcast, so this is awkward…”

While many fans acknowledged that this was an innocent coincidence, some were not shy about expressing their opinions. One viewer remarked, “Mario has always ended his videos with ‘follow me, I’m pretty funny’ so this is definitely just an accident but it’s nice that you guys are being cool about it.”

Others were less diplomatic, suggesting that “not everyone needs a podcast” and pointing out that there are already two shows with the same name. Some fans even proposed alternative titles, such as “Hot and Hilarious, ” to differentiate Brynne and Mario’s podcast.

As of now, neither Brynne nor Mario has officially addressed the controversy surrounding the podcast’s title.

This incident is part of a broader trend of influencer podcast drama gaining traction online. For instance, in late February, Alix Earle’s podcast was dropped from the Unwell Network amid rumors regarding her relationship with Alex Cooper, host of Call Her Daddy.
