A nurse has gained viral attention by posting TikTok videos where she offers advice for those experiencing pregnancy and childbirth, using a comparison of dilation stages during childbirth to food items found at Chick-fil-A.
Tay, also known as taylorg_rn on TikTok, has become a viral sensation for her video at Chick-fil-A, which has amassed over 3.9 million views. She has previously compared the process to ordering at popular chains like Starbucks and Panera.
Despite the comedic approach, Tay’s intention was to educate people, and she successfully did so as the range of sizes for the items shocked many.
Tay utilizes a wooden diagram board featuring accurately sized holes that represent the varying sizes the cervix can expand to during the birthing process. She then strategically places Chick-fil-A items in each hole, providing viewers with a familiar visual aid to better understand the process.
Starting with the smallest item on the menu, the signature red cherry with a one centimeter diameter, she moves on to the intimidatingly wide chicken sandwich that measures 10 centimeters across.
