TikToker Daniel Larson Charged with Threatening to Bomb White House

Daniel Larson, a popular content creator on TikTok, is currently facing multiple charges for making threats to detonate a courthouse in Colorado.

In recent years, Daniel Larson has amassed a social media following of half a million through videos showcasing his various antics.

In December 2023, Larson faced criticism on TikTok for a video in which he pulled the fire alarm at an Olive Garden and attempted to place all of its employees under “citizens arrest.”

On May 1, 2024, Daniel Larson was taken into custody and accused of multiple charges of making threats to use explosive material.

According to the court documents, Larson was accused of repeatedly making threatening phone calls throughout 2023, claiming that there were plans to destroy multiple buildings using explosives.

The mentioned buildings consist of a Colorado courthouse, a nonprofit center, the White House, a Colorado state government building, a college campus, and the FBI headquarters. Additionally, the report states that he made threats directed at a specific FBI agent.

The charges against Larson consist of six counts of “Use or Threatened Use of Explosive Material” and one count of “Interstate Communication of Threats.” If convicted, Larson could potentially face a maximum sentence of 65 years in prison or a fine of $250k for each charge, amounting to a total of $1.5M.

The TikToker has not made a statement about the situation, but on May 1, 2024, he posted a video stating that he will be “retreating to the mountains”due to his popularity and safety concerns, and will remain there until further notice.
