TikToker Maddy Baloy Passes Away at 26 After Fighting Stage Four Terminal Illness

In 2023, Maddy Baloy, a 26-year-old TikToker, passed away on May 1 due to her diagnosis of stage four terminal cancer.

Despite only having five years left to live after being diagnosed, Maddy found happiness in sharing her journey on TikTok. Prior to her passing, Baloy openly discussed her terminal illness and final moments with a large audience.

In a TikTok video where she shared her diagnosis, Maddy informed her 451K followers that cancer had spread throughout the majority of her lower body.

“She stated that her cancer had metastasized to her large intestine, small intestine, colon, uterus, and ovaries.”

The TikToker’s stomach problems began in the summer of 2022. She initially believed she had caught a worm or virus from one of the kindergartners she had been teaching in Florida.

Despite spending a year modifying her diet in an attempt to alleviate her recurring health issues, she developed symptoms of vomiting blood and sensory issues in February 2023. It was at this point that her fiance, Louis Fisher, recommended she seek medical attention, resulting in her eventual terminal diagnosis.

Despite her passing, Maddy was able to achieve a portion of her bucket list. One of her final desires was to experience being in a DJ booth at a music festival. Thanks to the assistance of musical duo Loud Luxury, this wish was granted in February.

She had always dreamed of meeting chef Gordon Ramsey and put it on her bucket list. In February, her dream came true when Gordon arranged for her to be flown to Miami and treated her to meals at two of his restaurants.

When Maddy passed away, she was in the company of loved ones, including her fiancé Louis. “She was incredibly special,” Risher shared with People. “Yesterday was actually my 27th birthday. I spent the whole day holding her hand, and that was all I needed.”

Despite being diagnosed with a terminal illness, the TikToker made the most of her last two years. She indulged in spa treatments, conquered a mountain, expressed herself through poetry, and cherished moments with her loved ones. Despite the unpredictable nature of her condition, she considered having cancer as a rollercoaster of emotions and felt incredibly fortunate to be living her life to the fullest.
