TikToker raises concerns about immature Live viewers after prank deliveries go unpaid

TikToker Parker ‘Stangry’ Jones recently expressed frustration towards “immature” viewers who have been placing prank orders for unpaid deliveries.

Stangry is one of the most prominent creators on TikTok, with a strong presence in the highly popular car section. He has amassed a following of over a million fans across all of his accounts, making him a top choice for car enthusiasts on the app.

Stangry and Velocity5.0, both creators, were live on TikTok on June 2, 2024 when their broadcast came to an abrupt end. This was due to a delivery driver surprising them with a food delivery at the shop where they were working on assembling Jones’ new Corvette.

Evidently, one of the TikToker’s viewers ordered the delivery as a joke, causing Stangry to immediately retaliate against them.

“Parker expressed frustration in the video, stating, “We need to be more mature. Our behavior is negatively affecting both us and the door dashers. We’ve been live streaming the building of the z06, which has been a popular request, but there are individuals who are ruining the experience for everyone. We had a huge audience of 3,000 people tuning in.”

“Unpaid and excessive food orders are causing major problems for delivery drivers. For instance, we recently received a $75 pizza order that the driver had to cover out of their own pocket. As a result, we are forced to reject these unpaid deliveries.”

The speaker expressed his dissatisfaction, stating that the situation was terrible and causing harm to all parties involved. He also mentioned that all the establishments in the vicinity have decided to provide them with the details of the person who placed the food order, and in the past, they have directly billed a 16-year-old boy. He pleaded for it to stop as it is immature and negatively affecting everyone involved.

Many restaurants still offer the option for customers to pay with cash upon delivery, and DoorDash even has a feature called cash-on-delivery that allows dashers to pay for the order in advance. This is a convenient option for those who prefer not to use digital payment methods. Fortunately, DoorDash has solutions in place for drivers who encounter cash on delivery orders.

It is not uncommon for DoorDash orders gone wrong to gain popularity on TikTok. On May 27, 2024, a customer surprised viewers by posting a video of their Little Caesars pizza order being stolen.
