A TikToker gained massive attention after sharing a tutorial on how to connect with Olympians on Hinge while they were in Paris.
Thanks to one TikToker, more than 14 million viewers are now aware of how to increase their chances of encountering Olympians while using a dating app.
Despite this, not every dating app will yield the desired results. Sofia Elizabeth strongly recommended Hinge as the top choice for finding and connecting with other individuals in the Olympic Village.
Sofia shared in one of her popular TikToks that she even met up with a 2024 Olympic athlete. She then proceeded to explain how to find them on Hinge.
The TikToker clarified that their dating profiles would include indicators, such as their participation in sports, that would reassure users that they are genuine.

“She joked that to be on par with an athlete, one must train like an athlete. She then mentioned the next step of asking Google for the location of the Olympic Village, where all athletes reside.”
In order to do so, Hinge users must navigate to their settings and update their neighborhood to “Saint-Denis.”
The TikToker mentioned that after adjusting your neighborhood preferences, the only remaining task would be to continue swiping multiple times.
“According to her, to truly acquire an Olympian, one must have a hardcore approach. The speaker believes that the algorithm will eventually detect one’s desire for only Olympians after rejecting all other options, making the process much easier.”
Those who watched her viral Hinge tutorial expressed their gratitude for the “free game”she provided and commended her for “doing the Lord’s work”by sharing her valuable tips.
Despite Hinge providing a preview of your potential match’s biography, there are times when dates don’t go as planned.
In 2023, a TikToker found themselves in a similar situation. They had to ask their Hinge date to leave their home, and in retaliation, the date used her lipstick to write all over the TikToker’s toilet.
Sofia’s hope is that her insight will result in improved experiences for users, as she had strong belief that her advice would be effective for others.
