Chrissy Teigen and John Legend are facing criticism on social media following a viral TikTok video in which a user alleged that they forcibly removed her and her friends from a photo booth.
The famous pair was present at the launch party for the 2024 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue at Hard Rock Cafe in New York when they decided to visit a photo booth.
In a TikTok video that has since been deleted, content creator Adelline (addiesassani) was captured taking photos with her two friends in the booth. After a few snapshots, Legend can be heard off-screen saying, “We’ll sneak in if it’s alright with you,”and then motioning for the group to exit.
The ‘All Of Me’ singer and Teigen then approach and awkwardly stand behind them, while one of the women goes back to save the photos for herself.

Legend whispers something to his wife at one point, causing her to look visibly irritated and uncomfortable. “Oh my gosh,”she exclaims towards the end, to which the singer quickly interjects: “Wait, wait, wait.”
Despite Adelline deleting the clip, it has still been shared on Twitter/X and has quickly gained widespread attention with over 19.6 million views. Many commenters have criticized the couple for reportedly forcing the trio to leave.
“One user described the behavior as entitlement, commenting, “This is a clear example of entitlement, when individuals think they are superior to others.”Another user expressed disapproval, saying, “It’s rude to act like you are above others.”A third user encouraged self-empowerment, stating, “Stand up for yourselves, ladies. Remember, celebrities are not inherently superior to anyone else.”
Some, on the other hand, supported the duo. “Those women seemed content to step aside. It’s typical to complain later for attention,”one individual commented. “He did ask politely to go through. Plus, you could have declined if you were truly bothered,”another person added.
Despite the criticism, both Chrissy Teigen and John Legend have yet to publicly address it. However, their carefree attitude was evident as they made an appearance at JBL Fest 2024 the following evening.
