His videos quickly gained traction on the For You Page, with the second day of the challenge reaching over 10k views. As the days passed, his videos gradually gained more popularity, and on the fifth day, they surpassed 500,000 views.

On the fifth day, Casey left a comment for Charlie, but it unfortunately contained some bad news for the determined TikToker.

“He informed me that he had broken his foot and would need a couple of weeks to recover. He urged me to continue with the task at hand.”

As a major admirer of the YouTuber, Charlie was thrilled to receive a response from Neistat. He wrote back: “That’s amazing, Casey! I hope your foot heals quickly and I can’t wait to see you back in action.”

On the sixth day, Charlie replied to Casey’s comment and thanked him for recognizing his hard work. He expressed his gratitude by saying, “I am grateful for your comment and I want you to know that I am not giving up. I will be here at 5 am, just like always.”

Casey Neistat has a massive following on YouTube, with more than 12 million subscribers. He has been sharing videos on the platform since February 2010, and has consistently showcased his passion for New York City and technology.

This is not the only instance in which a fan has attempted to gain the interest of a well-known content creator. In February 2024, a woman went as far as getting a tattoo of Kai Cenat on her face and even went as far as to threaten to repeat the action if he disregarded her TikTok video.

A fan of MrBeast also gained widespread attention after sharing that he had multiple tattoos of the YouTuber’s name on his leg.
