Two of Dr Disrespect’s streaming colleagues, TimTheTatman and NICKMERCS, are deeply shocked by the news that he was banned from Twitch for engaging in inappropriate conversations with a minor.
The online streaming community was shaken in late June when a former Twitch employee alleged that Dr Disrespect’s initial ban from the platform was due to inappropriate communication with a minor and attempting to meet them at TwitchCon.
Despite Doc’s initial dismissal of the claims, subsequent reports revealed that they held some truth, with additional employees coming forward to confirm the allegations.
After that, the streamer acknowledged sending messages to a minor in 2017, but reiterated that no illegal activities occurred, no photos were exchanged, and no crimes were committed.
Following the controversy, TimTheTatman and NICKMERCS have both shared their thoughts and made it clear that they do not condone Doc’s “awful”behavior.

“It’s absolutely crazy, man. I’ve been friends with Doc for a long time and we’ve been playing games together for years. It’s really hard for me to see everything that’s happening right now, and I know it’s probably tough for many of you as well,”Tim expressed in a video shared on X.
According to Tim, if Dr Disrespect was aware that he was speaking to a minor, he would not be able to condone it.
“He commented that this was unfortunate to say the least and awful.”
NICKMERCS also echoed his sentiments in a video response, stating that he also cannot condone Doc’s actions.

“We are all feeling quite torn up about it as well. We spent so much time playing games with this guy, and it just feels strange now. Unfortunately, there isn’t much we can do about it.”
Tim and Nick’s statements align with the widespread condemnation of Doc’s actions and the distancing of other streamers from him on social media.
Despite facing public backlash, Dr Disrespect has assured fans that he will continue streaming and is determined to stay in the game, declaring “I’m not leaving anytime soon.”
