You might be astonished to discover that selling cards alone can earn you thousands of dollars. You have a mere 0.02% chance of drawing one from each pack, so be prepared to open numerous packs before making a valuable find.
If you happen to draw one of the Tetramon Ghost Full Art Legendary Foil cards, place it on a Card Table and set a market price right away. You can purchase a Card Table directly from your phone to display the cards individually. Avoid buying the Card Display Table or any similar displays, as you cannot sell cards using those setups.
Once you have the expensive card on your Card Table, you’ll need to wait for a customer to make a purchase. This process can become complicated, as there are instances in which expensive cards may never sell.
The sale of expensive cards is closely linked to the purchasing power of the customers in TCG Card Shop Simulator. A customer’s purchasing power is influenced by your shop’s overall expansion and level. I personally tested these mechanics after acquiring an $11,000 card around days 20-25, which surprisingly didn’t sell until day 121. I created multiple save files to conduct my tests.
The only way I successfully sold that card was after reaching shop level 35. In my tests across three different save files, the expensive card sold 1-3 days after achieving that shop level. Notably, there were no additional shop expansions involved, as I had already maxed out the expansions available for that shop level in all files.
With these insights, it becomes essential to quickly advance to shop level 35 or higher to sell those valuable cards. While the price you set doesn’t drastically affect sales, placing an absurdly high price will deter buyers. Aiming for a modest +10% markup is advisable to optimize your profits.
How to Get More Expensive Cards in TCG Card Shop Simulator
The most effective strategy for acquiring more expensive cards is through opening packs. To do this, your shop needs to operate autonomously, which means hiring multiple workers to restock shelves and manage the counter.
When you have the opportunity to open packs, which ones should you choose to maximize your profits? Since the rarest cards are in the Tetramon Ghost set and can be found in any Tetramon pack, you should feel free to open any pack you desire.
Keep in mind, there are also valuable cards outside of the Tetramon Ghost set that can accumulate significant profits if you open hundreds or thousands of packs. The general rule is to always open the most expensive card pack you have available to enhance your time value.
Whenever you’re opening packs, you’ll typically see a “profit” since selling the cards is straightforward, and the average return will exceed the cost of each pack. Therefore, if you aspire to collect more expensive cards, focus on opening the best packs and let your team run your shop effectively.
