In Escape from Tarkov, each map features introductory quest lines. While players aren’t required to complete these quests in a specific order, doing so can enhance their understanding of the game’s progression system and encourage exploration of all maps instead of sticking to favorites. The questline for Interchange begins with the “Big Sale”task assigned by Ragman. Below, we provide detailed steps on how to complete the Big Sale task in Escape from Tarkov, enabling you to unlock further quests on Interchange.
How to Complete the Big Sale Task in Escape from Tarkov
The Big Sale quest is technically the second task from Ragman; however, it serves as the initial quest you must complete on Interchange. Before starting Big Sale, you need to achieve level 2 loyalty with Ragman, which leads you to this task. The objectives are as follows:
- Locate and inspect the AVOKADO store on Interchange
- Locate and inspect the KOSTIN store on Interchange
- Locate and inspect the tRend store on Interchange
- Locate and inspect the DINO CLOTHES store on Interchange
- Locate and inspect the TOP BRAND store on Interchange
- Survive and extract from the location
You will complete these objectives by entering each designated store. You must visit all five stores and then survive the extraction from the area. If you die during the raid, you will need to enter all the stores again. These locations are situated in the mall’s center, known as one of the most dangerous areas in Interchange. Fortunately, since the stores are closely grouped, a successful run can enable you to finish the quest in one go.
Big Sale Store Locations in Interchange
AVOKADO Store Location
The AVOKADO store is adjacent to the RASMUSSEN store and directly across from the Generic_Shop store. RASMUSSEN is located near other high-value stores such as Texho and Techlight. There is also a quest involving stashing helmets and Golden Neckchains here, making this area a potential hotspot.
Kostin Store Location
The Kostin store is located close to the bookstore and adjacent to the EMERCOM Medical Unit room, lying in the mall’s center but still technically on the IDEA side.
tRend Store Location
The tRend store is just opposite the DINO CLOTHES store and next to the NORTEX store, situated on the IDEA side of the mall. This area is less frequented by players unless they seek a safe route to the second floor, which is accessible via the escalator beside the tRend store.
DINO CLOTHES Store Location
The DINO CLOTHES store is located next to the SPIEL store and shares a hallway with other quest stores like TOP BRAND and tRend.
TOP BRAND Store Location
The TOP BRAND store is positioned near the OLI side of the mall, next to the 4 LIFE store and across from the Sports and Yushka Wear store. It is considered a risky location, being close to the main mall entrance and nearby stores like Texho and the ULTRA Medical Unit. Exercise caution while completing this task.
After visiting all the stores, head to the nearest extraction point. If you finish at the TOP BRAND store, proceed toward the main entrance or OLI to exit. Additionally, OLI has Fuel Conditioners that could be useful for future quests.
Upon completing the Big Sale task, new quests like Blood of War, Database Part 1, and Decontamination Service will become available.
