The latest addition to Fortnite, the Doom Battle Pass, is now available and includes a quest in which players must survive fire damage.
In addition to releasing Fortnite Update 31.10, Epic Games has launched a brand new Battle Pass inspired by Doom. This pass offers a total of 12 rewards, including the outfit of Doctor Doom and his Pandora’s Armor skin.
To receive the rewards, players are required to finish a total of 12 quests, each of which provides a unique reward upon completion.
The objectives are relatively simple, although the initial task may cause confusion as it requires users to endure fire damage four times.
Follow these simple steps to successfully finish this challenging Fortnite task.
Tips for Surviving Fire Damage in Fortnite
The initial mission of the Doom Battle Pass requires Fortnite players to ignite their characters four times. This can be accomplished by either sitting in a car that explodes or jumping into the Castle Doom furnace, as long as the character’s health is not depleted when the flames dissipate.
One option is to go to any gas station marked on the map and detonate a gas pump. This will cause players to enter the resulting flames on the ground and sustain damage.
Individuals who opt to perform the gas station trick in a single location should make sure to have health items available in case of emergency.
Thankfully, the fire effects in Fortnite do not result in significant damage, therefore players should have little difficulty in promptly completing this Doctor Doom quest.
Doctor Doom made a comeback to Fortnite during the beginning of Chapter 5 Season 4, which was given the title Absolute Doom by Epic.
The focus of the Marvel-themed season is centered on the antagonist’s mission to obtain the power of Pandora’s Box. It is currently unknown what his intentions are with the acquired power.
Those interested in accessing the villain’s additional Fortnite content should familiarize themselves with obtaining the Ultra Doom mythic and also explore a guide on obtaining the Doctor Doom skin.
