Wistoria: Wand and Sword Episode 8: Rosty Joins Will on His Date with Colette

The eighth episode of Wistoria: Wand and Sword opens with a lavish banquet at the tavern, where Donnan and the other dwarves are honoring Will’s triumph over Julius in the Grand Magic Festival. Donnan inquires if Will has been approached by the Tower representatives.

Despite Will’s falling out with a teammate and not winning the event, Colette acknowledges that it was impossible for him to do so. Additionally, Donnan expresses pride in Will for winning the duel and receiving an apology from Julius.

In episode 8 of Wistoria: Wand and Sword, Julius is seen working at the tavern against his wishes, as a way to make amends. He expresses regret over his loss to Will Serfort, a boy without magic, and fears that he will not be scouted as a result.

In the meantime, Colette inquires with professor Workner about the potential consequences of throwing a party. Although the professor is not bothered by it, he expresses concern for Will, who may have to deal with a separate challenge due to his exceptional showing at the festival.

The focus of Wistoria: Wand and Sword episode 8 then shifts to the Rigarden academy, where students are organizing parties for the upcoming Dungeon Praxis event. Surprisingly, Will is approached by a number of students who used to ridicule him in the past.

Colette questions whether professor Workner’s intentions were the same as what he said at the tavern. She scolds Will’s tormentors for assuming he would assist them when they had previously mocked him. However, to her disappointment, Will is swayed by their suggestions.

Colette instinctively informs the students that Will is unavailable to join them as he has prior plans with her for the following day. Upon returning to her dorm, she feels embarrassed for unintentionally inviting Will on a date.

Despite going shopping with Will, she cannot contain her excitement. Additionally, Will confides in Rosty about his plans, catching the boy off guard when he learns that Will Serfort will be joining Colette to shop for items for the Dungeon Praxis test.

The following day, Colette arrived for their date dressed in a stunning outfit and sporting a new hairstyle, causing Will’s heart to skip a beat. He found it particularly exciting to see her in a different look, as he was used to seeing her in her school uniform.

Colette was taken aback as Rosty Naumann suddenly appeared at the scene. Will explained that Rosty had insisted on accompanying him and wouldn’t take no for an answer. The eighth episode of Wistoria: Wand and Sword then showed Rosty tightly holding Will’s hands, leaving Colette puzzled by his affectionate gesture and questioning his intentions.

Despite directly asking Will about Rosty, she is assured that Rosty has always been this way by him. Although Rosty can be a bit touchy, she is told he means no harm. Eventually, Rosty instructs Will to have his sword checked by Donnan for the Dungeon test.

Despite Will’s absence, Colette boldly confronts Rosty about his true feelings for him. In episode 8 of Wistoria: Wand and Sword, Rosty openly admits his love for Will, causing Colette to become enraged and engage in a fierce glare with him.

During his visit to Donnan’s tavern, Will Serfort encounters Lihanna Owenzaus and is invited by her to join her team for the Dungeon Attack event. Lihanna takes him to a room where he meets Sion, Julius, and Wignall. This event is depicted in episode 8 of Wistoria: Wand and Sword, where Lihanna formally requests Will’s participation in her team.

Despite Lihanna’s belief that Will possesses impressive agility and monstrous strength, Sion and Julius disagree and oppose her decision to have him join the party. They argue that as an Ice mage, Will lacks the necessary Search Magic and would only hinder their progress.

Despite not wanting to form a party with Will again, Sion also recognizes that Wignall believes they have no right to question Will’s abilities after their loss to him in the festival. Sion, being an elven mage, does not object to Lihanna’s decision and is happy to welcome Will.

At the same time, Will is curious about Lihanna’s decision to join the Dungeon Attack, considering she has already been offered a proposal by the Thunder faction. Lihanna explains that her ultimate goal is to become a Magia Vander, and simply ascending the Tower will not suffice in achieving her dream.

After consulting with the mages, Lihanna suggests that they toss coins in a goblet to show their support for the team’s formation. With unanimous agreement, they follow Lihanna’s advice and toss the coins accordingly. Sometime later, Will Serfort reunites with Rosty and Colette and reveals his decision to join Lihanna’s team.

The focus of Wistoria: Wand and Sword episode 8 then shifts to the Rigarden academy, where Professor Workner announces to the students that they will be able to enter floors seven to ten of the Dungeon for their praxis test.

Each student will be given the chance to acquire over one thousand credits at once. Additionally, by defeating the floor keepers, they can earn even more credits. In theory, it is feasible to earn complete praxis credits by participating in the All-student praxis event.

On the contrary, Edward Serfence cautions the students that there is a possibility of death. He discloses that in the previous year’s test, four students were devoured by monsters. Therefore, he urges them not to recklessly pursue glory. Furthermore, he informs them that there will be professors stationed on each floor for assistance.

The conclusion of Wistoria: Wand and Sword episode 8 leaves viewers puzzled and disturbed as two unknown individuals brutally behead one of the instructors from Rigarden Academy in the dungeon’s depths.
