On Monday, September 16, 2024, Aniplex Online Fest announced that the highly anticipated To Be Hero X anime will premiere in 2025. This anime is a Chinese donghua series produced by bilibili and Aniplex, and the latest promotional video showcased its cast and characters.
After the success of the original To Be Hero and To Be Heroine anime released in 2016 and 2018, respectively, Director Haoling Li is returning to direct To Be Hero X at BeDream. The anime has also introduced its main theme song and composer.
To Be Hero X anime set to premiere in 2025

The promotional video also highlighted the anime’s main theme song titled “Jeopardy,”composed by Hiroyuki Sawano. Other notable contributors to the music include Kohta Yamamoto, Hidefumi Kenmochi, Daiki (AWSM.), Shuhei Mutsuki, Hideyuki Fukazawa, Misaki Maze, and Ryuichi Takada (MONACA).

To Be Hero X is set in a world where individuals with special abilities are revered. In this universe, the belief of the people shapes a hero’s powers; if people believe someone can fly, they can indeed take to the skies. Conversely, if the trust of the people is lost, so too are the hero’s powers. Thus, everyone has the potential to evolve into a hero.
