The ongoing battle between Hakari and Uraume in Jujutsu Kaisen has recently seen the addition of Toge Inumaki as a potential ally for the cursed sorcerer in his fight against Ryomen Sukuna’s comrade. Despite taking place alongside the main battle, creator Gege Akutami has not given much attention to this side conflict, much to the frustration of fans.
Despite fans’ concerns about Toge potentially posing a threat to Uraume, it is important to note that Inumaki has already used his cursed technique from outside the battlefield. This suggests that there is a possibility his technique cannot be utilized through a recorder after the initial use. Therefore, Inumaki may be unable to defend himself and would rely on Hakari for protection.

Why Toge Inumaki would be ineffective against Uraume in Jujutsu Kaisen
In chapter 262 of Jujutsu Kaisen, Yuta (Gojo) and Sukuna engaged in a fierce battle within the Infinite Void and Malevolent Shrine, both constantly searching for an opportunity to strike. Regrettably, Gojo’s physical state began to weaken and Yuta’s reflexes began to slow down.
Afterwards, Sukuna became aware of the delay and made a concerted effort to narrow the gap between them. In the process, he reflected on his battle with Gojo and anticipated that Yuta would use Hollow Purple, a powerful move that could have potentially defeated the King of Curses.
As Yuta performed the hand seal, Sukuna pounced on him, preventing him from completing the hand signs. Despite this, Yuta surprised Sukuna by revealing a recorder phone with Inumaki’s voice, instructing him not to move.
Outside the battlefield, Inumaki was experiencing the effects of his cursed technique, creating an opportunity for Yuta to successfully use Hollow Purple on the King of Curses.
Toge Inumaki’s decision to incorporate a recorder phone into his technique was highly unexpected, as it was previously believed that sorcerers were unable to store their cursed energy in objects. This unexpected move may also come with its own set of limitations and drawbacks. For instance, Inumaki may only be able to record his cursed technique once within the recorder phone.
This was because Yuta refrained from using any additional recorder phones with Inumaki’s voice, as he believed it could have prevented the King of Curses from harming Hana and Aoi in the future. This leads to the current discussion of whether Inumaki could potentially assist Hakari in his fight against Uraume.
The confrontation in Jujutsu Kaisen’s climactic battle featured the sorcerers battling Sukuna. In contrast to the previous showdown, this one remains shrouded in mystery and appears to be evenly matched, with no clear victor declared even in the latest chapter. Could Inumaki prove to be a valuable ally for Hakari?
Despite the possible disappointment, having Inumaki on the battlefield would only hinder Hakari’s progress. His presence would make him a target for Uraume, especially since he had lost his arms during the Shibuya arc in Jujutsu Kaisen. This would make it difficult for him to defend himself against a formidable opponent.
Despite the limitation of not being able to use his cursed technique through a recorder phone, he would still need to be protected by Hakari from the threat of Uraume due to the restrictions of his technique.
If Toge Inumaki’s arms had been healed by a sorcerer with expertise in RCT, such as Shoko, he would have been the perfect ally for Hakari. However, since this is not the situation, Toge Inumaki would only hinder Hakari in his already prolonged battle, as per the author’s choice.
