Tommy Fury Responds to Jake Paul Rematch Proposal with “Serious” Conditions

Tommy Fury has responded to Jake Paul’s proposal for a 12-round rematch, indicating that he is open to the idea if serious discussions take place.

In February 2023, Fury delivered a significant blow to Jake Paul’s previously unblemished boxing record by handing him his first loss in a closely contested match. Although Paul managed to knock Fury down late in the fight, it was ultimately not enough to secure victory.

Following that encounter, Fury went on to defeat KSI, establishing himself as a dominant figure in the sphere of YouTuber boxing. He recently aimed to return to the ring against former UFC fighter Darren Till, but that fight fell through when Till withdrew.

Tommy Fury’s Position on a Potential Rematch with Jake Paul

In light of Jake Paul’s stipulations for a rematch—calling for a 12-round bout rather than the standard eight—Fury has expressed his willingness to engage, provided that Paul is serious about the negotiations.

In an Instagram story, Fury stated, “I’ve just woke up and seen Logan Paul talking on his podcast yet again about how I don’t want to fight Jake and I’m running scared.” He continued, emphasizing his readiness to take on Paul again, saying, “I can give you a second loss; that’s not a problem, but let’s talk some serious numbers down the phone.”

Fury urged Paul to communicate with him directly, insisting that he knows how to reach him: “It’s as easy as that. I can come back after a year and beat the pair of you. If you want to fight, let’s talk some serious numbers, you know where I am.”

In addition to the potential rematch with Paul, there have been discussions regarding a second showdown between Fury and KSI. Although Fury was reportedly offered a “lucrative”opportunity, developments on that front have yet to materialize.
