Only 10 K-pop groups have managed to secure a place on the list of most-searched idols on Google in South Korea, with all members represented!
According to theqoo, the top 50 idols who gained the highest popularity on Google in South Korea for this year have been revealed.
The most-searched stars on the leading search engine indicate the K-pop community’s strong investment in the celebrated idols listed below, elevating their status in the entertainment industry.
Data from statistical graphs, categorized by male and female idols, highlights 10 groups that have demonstrated significant influence and popularity by placing all their members in the rankings.
Here are the 10 groups with all members listed among the most-searched idols on Google Korea 2024:
SHINee
The legendary second-generation boy group, known as the “Prince of K-pop,”has maintained their enduring fame for 16 years!
Taemin achieved the highest rank at No. 19, followed by Onew (33rd), Jonghyun (35th), Key (44th), and Minho (48th).
BTS
The “biggest boy group in the world,”BTS continues to dominate the top 10 list with V ranking 2nd, Jungkook 3rd, Suga 4th, and Jin 5th. Jimin follows closely at 7th place, while RM ranks No. 18 and J-Hope is at No. 47.
RIIZE
As rookies, RIIZE has firmly established themselves as a leader among 5th-generation groups. Wonbin placed 8th, being the highest-ranked male idol among 5th-gen idols.
Following him are Sohee at No. 11, Sungchan (14th), Anton (20th), Eunseok (41st), Seunghan (42nd), and Shotaro (46th).
BLACKPINK
The “biggest girl group in the world”did not disappoint, with Jennie ranking 6th and Jisoo 10th. Lisa secured 15th place, followed by Rosé at No. 26.
(G)I-DLE
Following a series of hits this year, Miyeon ranked 20th, Shuhua 29th, Soyeon 37th, Yuqi 39th, and Minnie 46th.
aespa
The “Supernova”hitmakers showcased their strong influence in South Korea, with Karina taking the No. 1 spot, while Winter ranks 3rd.
NingNing and Giselle follow in the 30th and 31st positions, respectively.
IVE
Jang Wonyoung is the highest-ranking member at 2nd place, followed by An Yujin in 4th. Leeseo is at 17th, Rei at 21st, Liz at 25th, and Gaeul at 45th.
NMIXX
NMIXX has Haewon and Sullyoon as their most popular members, ranking 12th and 13th, respectively. Jiwoo also made the top 50 at No. 38, while Lily is 41st, BAE is 48th, and Gyujin is 49th.
THE SERAPHIM
Kim Chaewon is the only member to enter the top 10, ranking at No. 8. Kazuha follows in 14th place, and Sakura is at No. 18. Hong Eunchae is at No. 22, and Huh Yunjin is in 34th position.
NewJeans
NewJeans had three members break into the top 10: Hanni (5th), Minji (7th), and Haerin (9th). Danielle ranked 27th, while Hyein is at 35th.
