In the year 2024, several male soloists from South Korea performed concerts, and out of all of them, these 15 K-pop idols drew in the largest audience.
According to theqoo, the total number of attendees for each male solo artist’s concert was used to determine the top 15 highest-grossing domestic concerts.
Baekhyun of EXO demonstrated his significant influence and authority by achieving the top two positions. In July, he held his two-day encore concert, “Lonsdaleite [dot],”which drew in a total of 25,111 attendees and solidified his title as the “One Top Soloist.”
Before this, he had previously performed his solo concert “Lonsdaleite“at KSPO Dome on March 16 and 17, with a total of 23,887 viewers in attendance.
Following his departure from SM Entertainment, Baekhyun founded his own label INB100. Today (September 6), he is set to reveal his 4th mini-album, “Hello, World,”marking his first release since leaving SM.
Next to Baekhyun, SHINee’s Taemin sits, having ranked 3rd with 14,016 attendees during his “Ephemeral Gaze”concerts at the Inspire Arena on August 31 and September 1.
Like the EXO member, Taemin also departed from SM and joined Big Planet Made (BPM) in order to oversee his solo endeavors. With his new agency, the K-pop legend released his latest album “Eternal”on August 19 and will embark on an Asian tour to promote it.
Despite ranking 4th, NCT Doyoung still achieved success with his “Dear Youth”concerts at Peace Hall. The three-day schedule drew in a total of 12,000 attendees.
Junho, a member of 2PM and an actor, successfully reached the Top 5. He interacted with a total of 11,035 audience members over the course of his two-day “The Day We Meet Again”concerts at the Indoor Gymnasium.
