The Diablo series has always featured the Wizard as the quintessential magic and elemental spell caster. For Season 30, we have compiled a list of the top Diablo Immortal Wizard builds.
The Wizard class has been a staple in the Diablo series since its inception, with the original Sorcerer from Diablo 1 and the Sorceress from Diablo 2 blazing, shocking, and freezing demons from the start. This classic elemental magic user has remained a beloved choice throughout the series. Fans can look forward to the return of the Wizard class as the Sorcerer in Diablo 4.
This particular caster class received a bit of a rebrand in Diablo 3 and has now made a comeback in Diablo Immortal – a game that can be played on both mobile devices and PCs.
The question remains, which Wizard build should you select in Diablo Immortal, considering the range of spells available, and which ones are most efficient for Season 30? To assist you, we have compiled a list of the top Wizard builds for this season in Diablo Immortal, along with instructions on how to create them.
The Wizard is the classic elemental caster in Diablo Immortal.
Is the Wizard right for me?
In Diablo Immortal, the Wizard is a typical spell-caster who harnesses the elements of fire, ice, and lightning to defeat their enemies. They are powerful from afar but can easily be defeated in close combat due to their fragility.
This particular character class does not rely on traditional weapons such as swords and shields. Instead, they are more inclined to utilize a wand or staff. While they do make use of armor, they typically opt for lighter gear to maintain mobility and attack their enemies from a distance.
If you tend to prefer magic users in most RPGs, then the Wizard class will cater to your preferences.
Is the Wizard team performing well this season?
The Wizard in Season 30 of Diablo Immortal is relatively balanced, achieving an A rank in both PVE and PVP.
Despite not reaching the highly sought-after S Tier, the Wizard remains a strong choice this Season and is considered perfectly respectable. In fact, the Wizard still ranks above those in the B Tier.
Bear in mind that this may be subject to change by the start of the next season.
These are the top two Wizard builds that deal the most damage to both Diablo’s monsters and other players.
Best Monk Diablo Immortal build (Season 30)
The top PVE Wizard build for Diablo Immortal Season 30 is the Firestorm Battlemage build, utilizing a variety of elemental abilities despite its name.
Despite this, it also utilizes a diverse range of abilities. Here’s the process for assembling the build:
Attributes
When building a Firestorm Battlemage, prioritize leveling your Wizard’s Intelligence and Fortitude stats. Fortitude is crucial for both defense and armor penetration against enemies. Additionally, it is important to also focus on increasing your Vitality to ensure you can withstand damage from foes.
Your Potency will increase and your Resistances will also receive a boost with a high level of Willpower. Therefore, it is important to pay attention to this stat, especially as you progress to the more challenging stages of the game. In contrast, Strength is not as crucial for this particular build, so it can be given less focus.
My Skills
When following the Firestorm Battlemage build, prioritize leveling up the Magic Missile skill and then upgrading it to Ice Missile as soon as you can. This will enable you to effectively attack enemies from a distance with a strong basic attack. Additionally, the chance to freeze enemies will give you some breathing room to prepare your more powerful attacks.
Lightning Nova becomes available at level three, allowing you to effectively combine it with Magic Missile. At level 18, you can also utilize Teleport to safely evade formidable foes whenever necessary.
Once you have reached level 20, make sure to incorporate Arcane Wind into your skill set. This spell not only deals considerable damage but also has crowd control capabilities. Additionally, consider adding Disintegrate to your arsenal at level 28 for some variety in your attacks.
After reaching level 41, you will gain access to Meteor, which can be used to obliterate enemies. After using it, allow it to cool down before utilizing it again. When paired with Teleport and Arcane Wind, this becomes a lethal combination for the Wizard.
By all means, don’t hesitate to try out other spells as well. However, we have found that this set of moves yields the most successful outcomes.
Gear
Your Wizard’s abilities can be greatly enhanced by the gear you choose to use, which is why it is important to find and equip the gear listed below.
- Head – Lyan’s Resonant Wisdom
- Shoulders – Shoulders of the Cataclysm
- Chest – Starcaller’s Drapery
- Legs – Riftdancer’s Stride
- Main Hand Weapon – Windshaper
- Off-Hand Weapon – The Siphon
When searching for rings, amulets, and other equipment, make sure to find the Issatar Imbued set (identical to the Monk’s gear). This will enhance the power of multiple spells and increase your damage output.
Wizards can cast fire, ice, and lightning spells against Diablo’s minions.
Diablo Immortal PVP Wizard Build
If you plan on using a Wizard to defeat fellow Diablo Immortal players in PVP, we suggest adjusting the above build and using a regular Battlemage setup instead.
To achieve the same result, follow a comparable route but substitute Scorch for Arcane Wind to deal more precise damage. Additionally, utilizing Ice Armor will provide defense against the sturdier character classes found in Diablo Immortal.
