Top June Girl Group Individual Brand Reputation Rankings for IVE’s Jang Wonyoung and Ahn Yujin

During the period of the 16th of last month to the 16th of this month, the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute analyzed a total of 88,548,756 pieces of big data from 675 members of various girl groups. The data was evaluated using factors such as participation, media coverage, communication, and community engagement, which were determined through consumer behavior analysis. This number showed a 27.19% decrease from the 121,616,805 pieces of brand big data collected in May.

In May, IVE’s Jang Wonyoung, who placed first, achieved a brand reputation index of 8,145,942 with a participation index of 1,476,859, media index of 887,921, communication index of 1,251,796, and community index of 2,145,145. However, her recent brand reputation index of 5,761,721 reflects a decrease of 29.27%.

Despite a 6.58% decrease from her brand reputation index of 5,150,510 in May, Ahn Yujin of IVE still secured second place with a participation index of 1,178,855, a media index of 857,304, a communication index of 1,134,352, and a community index of 1,641,097, resulting in a total brand reputation index of 4,811,607.

Despite ranking third, aespa’s Karina maintained a high brand reputation index of 2,797,122 with a participation index of 321,538, media index of 304,037, communication index of 1,059,626, and community index of 1,111,921. This represents an increase of 18.45% from her brand reputation index of 2,361,362 in May.

Despite a 42.59% drop from her May brand reputation index of 4,471,129, Wonhee from I’LL-IT maintained a strong presence with a participation index of 720,437, a media index of 262,343, a communication index of 783,832, and a community index of 800,097, resulting in a total brand reputation index of 2,566,708 and a fourth place ranking.

Despite ranking fifth, BLACKPINK’s Jennie had a brand reputation index of 2,298,064, with a participation index of 327,735, a media index of 510,298, a communication index of 695,028, and a community index of 765,003. This marks a decrease of 38.13% from her previous brand reputation index of 3,714,551 in May.

According to Koo Chang-hwan, director of the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute, the June 2024 big data analysis for individual girl group brand reputation revealed that IVE’s Jang Wonyoung took the top spot. However, there was a 27.19% decrease compared to the May data, which was 121,616,805. Further analysis showed a decline in brand consumption by 37.40%, brand issues by 38.08%, brand communication by 10.70%, and brand spread by 29.71%.

He went on to say, “In June 2024, the link analysis of IVE’s Jang Wonyoung, who held the top spot, revealed the top terms to be ‘lovely, loved, strong.’ Meanwhile, the keyword analysis highlighted ‘IVE, Wonyoung’s thought process, Jang Da-a.’ Additionally, the positive-negative ratio analysis reflected a high positive ratio of 90.54%.”
