Limestone is a valuable resource in the game Enshrouded, extensively used in various crafting recipes. Given the range of rock types within the game, distinguishing between them can be challenging. If your mining efforts have primarily yielded stone, sandstone, and granite, this guide is designed to help you locate and utilize limestone effectively.
Finding Limestone in Enshrouded
Limestone can primarily be found in the Low Meadows, situated at the southern edge of the Enshrouded map.
The Low Meadows is accessible early in your journey through Embervale, easily reached by gliding east from the Springlands Ancient Spire’s peak. This area is abundant in limestone, especially on the surrounding hills of the Spire.
When searching for limestone, look for its noticeably lighter color, resembling that of sand. Upon closer inspection, you will observe small flecks of blue and orange decorating the stone’s surface.
The optimal location for mining limestone in Embervale is the mountain northeast of the Low Meadows Ancient Spire. This mountain is easily spotted from the Spire itself; simply glide in its direction and prepare to mine.
This mountain consists entirely of limestone, ensuring that this valuable resource is plentiful and won’t diminish quickly.
Utilizing Limestone in Enshrouded
Limestone serves as a crucial ingredient for crafting building blocks at the Workbench in Enshrouded. It produces light-colored blocks, creating a vibrant and inviting atmosphere compared to standard stone blocks.
Beyond building blocks, limestone is also used as a component in the creation of various block types, including Fancy Stone Blocks, Mixed Sandstone Blocks, Refined Stone Blocks, and, of course, limestone blocks.
Enhancing Your Mining Skills in Enshrouded
You can mine limestone with even basic pickaxes, but upgrading to a higher-quality pickaxe will significantly increase your yield and speed of collection. Acquiring materials for top-tier pickaxes can be challenging, but there are alternative ways to enhance your mining capabilities.
Within the Skills tab in your menu, you can allocate Skill Points to enhance attributes such as Constitution, Spirit, Endurance, Strength, Dexterity, and Intelligence. Each attribute contributes to refining your character’s build, whether you prefer to be a Mage, Archer, Warrior, or other archetypes available in Enshrouded.
The central circle, marked by a faint purple line, encompasses broader skills beneficial in the field. Among these, the Mining skill offers a 10% chance of acquiring an additional resource during collection. Additionally, the Mason skill amplifies damage dealt to stone assets by 30%, making it a valuable investment for any aspiring miner.
To excel in mining limestone and other resources, focusing on these two skills will greatly enhance your efficiency and productivity.
