Despite being a fictional band, ECLIPSE’s song “Sudden Shower”has been gaining popularity on music charts. During a recent live broadcast, one of the top vocalists in K-pop recognized the talent of Byeon Woo Seok.
On social media, K-pop fans have been taking notice of Wook Seok, a singer and actor, following praise from singer Sandeul for his vocals, visuals, and height.
The primary singer of B1A4 held a live broadcast on May 28th to interact with his fans, known as BANAs. During the broadcast, he graciously granted fans’ requests and performed “Sudden Shower,”the popular original soundtrack from the highly-rated tvN drama, “Lovely Runner.”
Initially, he was doubtful and inquired:
“Isn’t Byeon Woo Seok an actor?”
After listening to the initial verse, he paused the music and exclaimed:
“This person is almost 190cm tall. 187cm tall? He is 187cm tall, he has a face like that and he has a voice like that?!”
Initially taken aback, Sandeul was momentarily speechless. However, he quickly recovered and playfully responded:
“No, I’m not really in a good mood now.”

As he kept playing, he couldn’t help but be amazed at how beautifully the actor sang. Once again, the vocalist paused the song to catch their breath and asked:
“Is this real? This is real? How is this happening? How can it be? How do I get a voice like this?”
As Sandeul kept singing, he carefully observed Byeon’s vocal style and even drew comparisons to Paul Kim, one of the most renowned solo singers in Korea.
“Right? Their voice is similar.”
The B1A4 member was left in a daze and could only utter the words after hearing him sing.
“Ah, I really like it. I like it. It’s so good. He’s really good.”
Ultimately, Sandeul playfully hinted at a potential cover of the song by giving fans a brief preview. After hearing his heartfelt rendition, BANAs are eagerly anticipating a complete version of “Sudden Shower”from him.
After Sandeul’s reaction to Byeon Woo Seok went viral, netizens found her relatable and responded with laughter, commenting:

- “I feel proud as a fan because Byeon Woo Seok was praised by a singer who is good at singing.”
- “It’s so funny because my first reaction was like that as well. I hope Sandeul could release a cover of it later.”
Sandeul is highly regarded as a singer in the Korean music industry. He is not only a prominent figure in the field, but he is also the vocalist for many well-known K-Drama and webtoon soundtracks.
Sandeul is known for several noteworthy songs, including “Slightly Tipsy”from the webtoon, “She is My Type,””The Image of You”from the popular drama “Hometown Cha Cha Cha,””You’re leaving like the season”from “Castaway Diva,”and many others.
