This development sparked a flurry of buzz across the online community, particularly in light of the ongoing legal challenges facing NewJeans’ agency. Fans exhibited a spectrum of reactions; while many expressed enthusiasm for the new content associated with NJZ, others voiced confusion and poked questions about the implications for NewJeans’ future. As discussions ensued, the announcement quickly transformed into a trending topic, with netizens delving into the nuances of the teaser image and speculating its potential impact on the group.

In response to the uproar, ADOR issued a statement on February 28, underscoring their stance on the situation: “ADOR maintains that the exclusive contract is still valid, and we are currently awaiting a legal ruling on this matter.”

Moreover, ADOR cautioned that “participating in entertainment activities or sharing content via unauthorized accounts may lead to contract violations and create confusion among fans and advertisers alike. We strongly advise everyone to avoid such actions.”

Amidst the escalating legal proceedings, all five members of NewJeans (now NJZ) confirmed their participation in an upcoming performance at ComplexCon Hong Kong scheduled for March, where they are also set to unveil new music.
