Jung Eun-ji recalls mother’s disapproval of her singing career + video of her winning a singing contest at 11

In the latest episode of SBS’s “Dolsing Fourmen,” which aired on June 18, actress Lee Jung-eun, actor Choi Jin-hyuk, and actress Jung Eun-ji all made appearances.

Jung Eun-ji shared in this episode that her mother had initially been against her pursuit of a singing career. She revealed, “When I was a child, my homeroom teacher suggested that I become a singer, but my mother declined, saying I was too young and could pursue it later if I truly developed a passion for it. However, as I grew older, my desire for music only intensified, yet my mother remained firmly against it.”

The video clip of Jung Eun-ji, taken when she was in fifth grade, has also been made public. At the age of 11, she was seen participating in a children’s singing competition in the video. Kim Jun-ho remarked, “Her face still looks the same,”while Tak Jae-hoon exclaimed, “She sang confidently without showing any signs of nervousness.”During the competition, Jung won the top prize and delivered her acceptance speech in the local dialect, which was praised for its cuteness.
