She was in attendance at the premiere of the Apple TV+ series “Dislaimer” for two consecutive days, stunning onlookers with her fiery red dress on the first day. The following day, she commanded attention once more in a daring black dress with a bold slit. Her presence on the red carpet alongside Cate Blanchett, the lead actress of “Dislaimer,” also garnered much attention.
The world premiere of “Disclaimer,”a psychological thriller series starring Jung Ho-yeon, took place at the 81st Venice International Film Festival. The series follows journalist Catharine (played by Cate Blanchett) who, after gaining fame by uncovering others’ wrongdoings, receives a mysterious novel from an anonymous writer. Jung will portray Jisoo in the series, alongside Cate Blanchett.
Variety, a prominent American entertainment media outlet, reported that the series was met with a highly positive reception from the audience at the Venice screening. The viewers showed their enthusiasm by giving a standing ovation for a duration of five minutes and showering the series with compliments.
Previously, Jung Ho-yeon has been present at prestigious ceremonies such as “The Gotham Awards,””Screen Actors Guild Awards (SAG),””The Critics Choice Super Awards,””Emmy Awards,”and “British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA).”Notably, she made history as the first Korean and non-English speaker to receive the Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series award at SAG.
