According to an official source, Kim Sae-ron was initially reported to have a role in the upcoming play “Dongchimi” at CTS Art Hall, scheduled from May 3rd to 12th. However, it has now been confirmed that she will not be joining the cast.
Despite appearing in the information section for “Dongchimi”until April 17th, it has been confirmed that Kim Sae-ron has been replaced by another actor for her specific role. Her photo and role were still listed, but she has since been replaced.
Despite not participating in any acting projects since her drunk driving incident, Kim Sae-ron has apparently chosen to step away from the play “Dongchimi”following the release of news about her involvement, which was met with widespread criticism from the public.
In May 2022, Kim Sae-ron was caught driving under the influence of alcohol near Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, and caused damage to guardrails, trees, and transformers on the street multiple times. As a result, in April of the previous year, the Seoul Central District Court imposed a fine of 20 million won on Kim Sae-ron.
