According to ADOR, Hyein will not be able to take part in NewJeans’ upcoming promotions for “How Sweet.”
Hyein from NewJeans has decided to withdraw from participating in the promotional activities for ‘How Sweet’. ADOR has released an official statement regarding this matter.
On May 8, an official statement was released by ADOR, announcing that NewJeans’ youngest member, Hyein, would continue to be on hiatus.
As per the agency’s announcement, it was disclosed that Hyein had sought medical treatment at the hospital for foot pain. The medical examination revealed a microfracture on her foot, which resulted in her taking a temporary break.
ADOR then revealed that Hyein’s main priority at the moment is her recovery. This was followed by the guidance of healthcare experts, who recommended that Hyein limit any movements that could potentially aggravate her condition.
As a result, ADOR determined that Hyein would not be able to take part in NewJeans’ “How Sweet”promotions, which included various music shows and performances.
The agency also reassured fans that Hyein’s schedules with the group would be modified according to her health condition and medical advice. Additionally, ADOR humbly requested fans’ understanding of the situation and promised support for her complete recovery.

We would like to thank the fans for always supporting and loving NewJeans, and we will update you on Hyein’s health status, alongside her upcoming schedule.
Last month (April), Hyein experienced pain in the top of her foot during a practice session. She visited the hospital, where she went through a thorough examination and according to the results, a microfracture in her foot was discovered.
She has since been focusing on treatment and recovery. However, the medical professionals have advised her to minimize any movement that may put unnecessary strain on the affected area.
Consequently, Hyein will not be able to participate in the official promotional activities for the double single “How Sweet,”including music shows and performances, in order to focus on her recovery.
For other scheduled appearances beyond music shows and performances, her participation will be adjusted in a flexible way based on her health and medical advice.
We would like to ask for your generous understanding, as we will support Hyein and her recovery to ensure her return to fans in good health,
