On July 11th, a video titled “Fantastic Chemistry of 14 Years of Friendship… (Feat. Running Man)” was posted on the online channel “Kim Jong Kook Gym Jong Kook” .
The video showcased the cast of “Running Man”(Yoo Jae Suk, Kim Jong Kook, Ji Suk Jin, Haha, Song Ji Hyo, Yang Se Chan, etc.) from SBS’s popular variety show as they came together for a fan meeting in Manila, Philippines to commemorate the 14th anniversary of the show.
The fan meeting rehearsal highlighted the members’ enduring chemistry.
Song Ji Hyo put on a charming performance of Lee Hyori’s “Beach Again”, showcasing her adorable dance moves and impressive singing abilities. Ji Suk Jin playfully teased her singing, quipping, “Listening to Ji Hyo’s song makes me feel like a ghost might pop up.”
During Ji Suk Jin’s ballad solo rehearsal, the members playfully pretended to fall asleep, showcasing the strong camaraderie they have built over their 14 years together. Once the rehearsal concluded, Haha and Yang Se Chan jokingly remarked, “What day is it again?”and “Has it really been two days?”
The local fans were filled with excitement as the main concert began, taking over the venue. The members wowed the audience with a range of performances, including solos, duets, and group acts, creating a fun and memorable experience for the fans. Kim Jong Kook’s popular song “Loveable”had the crowd singing along in Korean, showcasing the widespread popularity of Running Man.
The “Running Man”fan meeting will be taking place in multiple locations, such as Jakarta (Indonesia), Singapore, and Macau, providing an opportunity for the members to interact with their fans from around the world.
Since its debut in July 2010, “Running Man” has remained a cherished weekend variety show in South Korea, earning a consistent level of popularity over the course of 14 years.
