On June 8th, the Korean Film Council reported that “Wonderland”maintained its top position for the third consecutive day, as an additional 66,840 viewers were drawn to the film, bringing the total number of viewers to 297,845. This information was obtained from the Korean Film Council’s integrated computer network for tracking movie ticket sales.
The film “Wonderland”tells the heartwarming story of reconnecting with a loved one or partner who has passed away through a video call. It is directed by Kim Tae-yong and marks the first time he has worked with Chinese actress Tang Wei since their marriage in 2014. This is also their second project together, following their successful collaboration on the 2010 film “Late Autumn”. The star-studded cast includes Park Bo-gum, former Miss A member Suzy, Jung Yu-mi, and Choi Woo-sik.
“Taking the second spot is the action-packed film “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga”, which had a total of 1,276,315 viewers, including 45,613 from the previous day. In third place is the thriller “Following”with a cumulative total of 1,063,314 viewers and 22,539 viewers from the previous day.”
