Warning! This article is full of information, including the sequel to the original comic book that has not been made into a live-action version, and the reason why we started recruiting superpowers in the first place! If you are curious about the sequel and don’t mind the thunder, please read on!
Disney+’s “MOVING”released its finale yesterday. In the last episode, the character “Shin Hye-won”(played by Shim Dal-ki), whom many people had forgotten about, suddenly appeared, and she transformed from a bullied student into a boss of the Ministry of Security and Enterprise. It was super surprising! In fact, in Jiang Cao’s original comics, she is also a very key character, and she has a LoveLine with the “Uncle Guard”who seems to be very different in age!
1. Shin Hye-won has a great background
Jiang Cao officially introduced Shin Hye-won in the sequel to “MOVING”, “Bridge”. In fact, she is a superpower with the ability of immortality. She was the director of the overseas studio of the National Intelligence Agency 20 years ago. During this period, a mysterious attack occurred and her team was almost wiped out. In order to prevent these people from attacking again, Shin Hye-won, after returning to South Korea, worked with Deputy Chief Min and others to establish a plan to recruit a team of superpowers, namely the “NTDP National Talent Development Project.”
Shin Hye-won has been exposed to the dark side of human nature for many years. She believes that people are selfish and hopeless, and she recruits superpowers with the idea of coercion until she meets Jang Hee-soo.
Shin Hye-won transferred to Jang Hee-soo’s class based on her appearance as a high school student, and deliberately stimulated Hee-soo’s “teenage pride”to show her super powers. However, she realized that she had super powers for the first time when she witnessed a 1 vs. 17 fight with her own eyes. In other words, Hee Soo chose to help her friend even though she knew she would be seriously injured.
Later, when she got to know Kim Young-joo and others (the male protagonist of Jiang Cao’s previous work “TIMING”), Shin Hye-won realized that there are really people in the world who do not seek selfish desires and sacrifice themselves for others. She realized her mistake and decided to destroy the information about superpowers and withdraw from the National Intelligence Agency. She was content to be these people. The bridge where superpowers gather together. The title of the comic “Bridge”actually refers to Shin Hye-won!
2. Shin Hye-won’s LoveLine
Shin Hye-won looks too young and has difficulties at work, so she arranges for her partner “Huang Zhicheng”to perform tasks with her. Twenty years later, Shin Hye-won is still a young girl, while Hwang Chi-sung has entered middle age and came to Jingyuan High School as a guard… Yes, the guard uncle is Shin Hye-won’s secret partner! It’s just that he’s not as old as the real-life version in the comics, at least not as old as his head is full of gray hair XD
In fact, Huang Zhicheng has always had a crush on Shin Hye-won, and he felt sad and helpless that he was the only one getting older. Later, when Li Qiangxun was replaced as her partner, he expressed his jealousy outright. Later, when facing a life-and-death crisis, Shin Hye-won realized that she also had a crush on Huang and chose to die together with Huang. Fortunately, she survived with the help of someone with the ability to predict dreams, and they both changed their identities and flew away.
Many Korean netizens are moved by this love narrative and are looking forward to a live-action version, but they wonder if the age gap between the actors is too big and it will look a little strange. At present, Jiang Cao has not confirmed that she will film a second season, but the information about “Kim Young-joo’s birthday”in the drama has led many people to speculate that the second season has been confirmed to star Yoo Seung-ho. However, even so, Shin Hye-won’s story may have to wait until the second season. Three seasons already XD
