Tower of God Season 2 Announces July 2024 Release Date with New Key Visual

The announcement included a new key visual showcasing the introduction of two new characters – Ja Wangnan and Jyu Viole Grace.

In 2020, the first season of the anime was launched, depicting the journey of Bam, an Irregular who managed to open the gates of the Tower despite not being chosen by it. His motivation was to reunite with his beloved Rachel, but he was ultimately met with a shocking act of betrayal.

Tower of God Season 2 Unveils New Key Visual

On Wednesday, June 12, 2024, Crunchyroll revealed that the highly anticipated second season of Tower of God will debut on Sunday, July 7, 2024. The anime will be available to stream on Crunchyroll and will follow Bam’s quest to reach the pinnacle of the tower.

Along with the unveiling of the anime’s new key visual, featuring new characters Ja Wangnan and Jyu Viole Grace, this announcement also stated their crucial role in season two.

Taichi Ichikawa, who voices Bam, the main character of Tower of God, announced that he will also be voicing Jyu Viole Grace in the upcoming second season. Jyu Viole Grace is a Slayer Candidate for FUG, a criminal organization that opposes Zahard, the ruler of the tower. This character holds a significant role and carries a major secret.

Yuuma Uchida has been chosen to voice Ja Wagnum in the second season of the anime. Wagnum is a young boy who is currently facing difficulties in passing the 20th floor. Therefore, the upcoming season will showcase his determination to retake the test. Despite not succeeding, Wagnum refuses to give up and coincidentally crosses paths with Jyu Viole Grace. After witnessing Viole’s impressive abilities, Wagnum extends an invitation for him to join his team of Regulars.

The anime adaptation of Tower of God chronicles Bam’s journey as he enters the Tower in pursuit of Rachel, the girl he loves. As he progresses through the tower, Bam faces numerous challenges that not only aid in his growth and development, but also allow him to form friendships and evaluate his own strength and skills. This ultimately enables him to ascend the tower through his own determination and capabilities.

Despite Bam being reunited with Rachel in the final episode, she ultimately betrays him by pushing him into the water, leading to an intriguing conclusion for fans at the end of the first season.
