Tower of God: Season 2 Episode 2 – Opening Events: Other Regulars Enter as the Second Screening Test Begins

The second episode of Tower of God’s second season begins with a flashback featuring Baam and Rachel discussing the Tower’s past. As they return to the present, Baam and the other Regulars patiently wait for more test takers to join them in the second stage. Before long, more Regulars show up, among them the delivery boy and money lender Kim Lurker who appeared in the previous episode, and Yihwa, the flamethrower woman that Wangnan had encountered during his last test. Wangnan feels uneasy about Yihwa being there and informs the rest of the group that she is a member of the esteemed Yeon family.

Lurker reveals to Wangnan that Prince, the son of their company’s president, is participating in the test as well. Lurker also mentions that Prince’s father has offered a bribe to the exam proctor in order to guarantee Prince’s success. Lurker expresses empathy for Wangnan, as Prince plans to deliberately sabotage the other test takers in the next round.

In episode 1, Kang Horyang maintains his lead with a score of 6350 points. However, Robdevil, who is one of Prince’s associates, quickly surpasses him with a score of 11988 points. Yihwa then takes the test, but unfortunately slips and falls on the instrument.

Despite this setback, she still manages to score an impressive 22384 points, temporarily reclaiming the top position. However, Prince utilizes buffs from his companions and surpasses her with a score of 25521 points, reclaiming Yihwa once again.
