Tower of God: season 2 unveils its new animation, fans already love it

Season 2 of Tower of God is expected this summer, but a recent teaser has already revealed the few changes in the animation, which were welcomed with joy by fans.

The Tower of God anime debuted in 2020, and audiences were there for the webtoon adaptation, which received generally positive reviews. The strong point of the series was clearly its ability to convey the charisma of the characters and the importance of the themes written by SIU. However, one detail nevertheless seemed to bother the spectators: a small weakness in the animation.

Indeed, some sequences lacked a certain fluidity, preventing the series from competing with other ambitious creations like Demon Slayer or Jujutsu Kaisen. Fans can rest assured: it seems that the Telecom Animation Film studio has decided to work extra hard during these four years of absence to make up for lost time.

The trailer for season 2 of Tower of God revealed during a live broadcast

IGN Fan Fest 2024 presented the first official trailer for Tower of God Season 2. The 20 seconds of footage, preceded by an introduction from Taichi Ichikawa, who plays the protagonist Bam, gives us a glimpse of the characters, old and new, as well as a taste of the more refined animation.

Although short, the video seems to have managed to allay concern about the final product. The comments section of the video on YouTube is indeed full of reassured opinions: “Finally some quality animation for this exceptional season,” comments one Internet user. “I’m surprised I’m not disappointed,” one Reddit user jokingly adds.

Tower of God season 2 does not yet have a specific release date as of today, but is expected for July 2024.
