The latest episode of New Heights, a widely known podcast featuring Jason and Travis Kelce as hosts, featured a special guest appearance by hip-hop artist and actor Dave “Lil Dicky”Burd.
Burd, a renowned Philadelphia sports enthusiast, expressed his passion for the Eagles and Sixers before the topic shifted to music.
The trio conversed about their preferred musicians, leading to Travis’ current relationship with pop sensation Taylor Swift being mentioned.
Jason mentioned the sudden increase of “Swifties” joining the NFL fan community. This led Burd to inquire about how Travis is handling the significant rise in his popularity.
Travis responded enthusiastically, stating that he was having a great time in life and was thoroughly enjoying every moment of it.
Burd expressed his enthusiasm for the phenomenon of Swifties dominating the football scene, declaring it as “the greatest thing to happen”for the NFL.
“Burd explained that he believes there’s a dynamic that exists where people often perceive the world to be similar to high school. In this dynamic, it’s not uncommon for the most popular pop star to cross paths and fall in love with the most popular athlete.”
“I’m not sure how I managed it because she wasn’t interested in sports,”Travis chuckled. “I guess I just got lucky.”
After winning his third Super Bowl with the Chiefs in February, Kelce embarked on a global tour. Since the end of the NFL season, the All-Pro tight end has attended multiple of Swift’s concerts abroad.
Despite Travis’s uncertainty about how he managed to capture the attention of the internationally renowned pop star, numerous Swifties are expressing their support for their latest relationship and are eager for it to endure.
