The community of Pokemon Go players is always open to expressing their apprehensions regarding future events, and the recent announcement of Shared Skies has sparked some curiosity among them.
The upcoming event “Triumph Together”will require Pokemon Go players to collaborate in order to complete various Global Challenges. Each team has its own Global Challenge theme, but all players will have access to the tasks and rewards.
Despite the excitement of some players for the August 23-30 event, it also sparked a debate among others who felt that the grass is greener on the other side. Specifically, players from Instinct and Valor expressed disappointment with their team’s designated Global Challenge and perceived it as having the worst reward overall.

Appearing in a community discussion, there were conflicting opinions about the upcoming event – particularly regarding the themed costume Pokemon and Paid Timed Research Ticket.
Many viewers expressed great enthusiasm for the costume Pokemon featured in Triumph Together, with one viewer exclaiming, “Oh yes! I mistakenly deleted my Elekid and I’ve been upset about it ever since.”
Despite some players expressing their enthusiasm for the themed event Pokemon, there were others who remained unconvinced. A few players voiced their disappointment over the fact that the costumed Pokemon were not easily obtainable, while some playfully joked about these ‘mons being “locked behind a paywall.”
Despite playing since the game’s inception, a frustrated player expressed disappointment in the absence of wild spawns. They stated, “If this trend of events without wild spawns persists, I may have to consider quitting. Can someone kindly remind Niantic that catching wild Pokemon is the core aspect of the game?”
One member of the community expressed dissatisfaction, stating, “Valor global reward is inferior to the others.”It appeared that Team Valor players were especially irritated in this discussion, as another member jokingly declared, “I get the feeling that Pokemon Go isn’t a fan of Team Valor.”
Despite being members of Instinct, some individuals also expressed their concerns. One person mentioned, “It seems like Team Instinct got the short end of the stick on this one,”while another stated that they felt “dealt a bad hand”and would not be making any more purchases from the store.
While there were some players who expressed their desire to switch from Mystic to Valor, the majority of complaints regarding the event appeared to be from Spark and Candela’s teams. These complaints were primarily focused on the featured costume Pokemon and the rewards offered for each team’s Global Challenge.
As a Pokemon Go player, there is a lot to look forward to this year, especially since the Dynamax feature has been officially confirmed.
