Upon analyzing the capabilities of the space, Makoto promptly realizes that the swords are crucial to Sofia’s survival. Underestimating her abilities as mundane, he obliterates the swords with his arrows and reveals his true identity as an archer. In retaliation, Sofia strikes Makoto, causing damage to his Mana Matter, but he reinforces it and swiftly defeats the swords using his weapon, Azusa.

Sofia expresses her regret over not having the chance to meet Luto, stating that she is not ready to die. Makoto discloses the shocking truth that Luto had been manipulating her as a camera all this time and bids her goodbye, revealing his true identity.

Nevertheless, Sofia unveils her secret weapon, a katana, and successfully deflects Makoto’s arrow. This leads Makoto to ponder if Lancer’s own secret weapon was also a sage, possibly hailing from Japan. Sofia’s evolving theory also brings to mind a goal that Shiki had mentioned before, known as Glont.

With her katana, Sofia strikes Mana Matter, severing their arms. To bring the fight to a swift close, Makoto employs his ultimate arrows and a mana ladder to attack Sofia from a higher vantage point.
